If you thought The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was just about dirty sodas and TikTok dances, think again. Between cheating rumours, swinging scandals, and Chippendales dancers, this show is basically a masterclass in relationship chaos.
But which couples are actually still together after all the drama? We did through all the hints to find out.
Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen

Taylor and Dakota’s relationship was always a bit of a rollercoaster, and by early 2025, it finally came off the rails, as we saw on the show.
Taylor confirmed the breakup herself on Instagram, admitting, “That’s grief, let it through so it can pass and you can heal. The more you resist the pain coming through, the longer the suffering, learned this the hard way,” per PEOPLE.
She also said she was “not dating at the time”, adding, “I couldn’t think of anything worse”. In an interview with E! News, Taylor described the split as “really triggering” and said, “We’re trying to heal individually to a spot, I think obviously we can get to. Right now I’m only focused on me.”
She also admitted, “I didn’t want this to be the case so for me. I think he has hope still to this day, I don’t know if any of us are holding on even one chance, but I don’t want to say never say never.”
However, according to co-star and bestie Mayci Neeley, it seems that Taylor and Dakota’s relationship is anything but smooth sailing. Mayci appeared on The Viall Files and said, “[Dakota] sabotages things. Why do you think Taylor didn’t show up today [to The Viall Files]?
“Anytime Taylor has a big event coming up — last year for press, New York press, the press in LA, she almost didn’t show up because he purposely gets in fights with her, sabotages things, she’s crying, she doesn’t want to go do press,” she continued.
“If your wife had a great opportunity coming up you wouldn’t be like, ‘Let me start a fight right before she leaves.'”
So, for now: definitely broken up, but still co-parenting their son Ever.
Jennifer and Zac Affleck

After a Chippendales scandal, a separation, ketamine couples therapy and brutal journey with mental health, Jen and Zac are still hanging on.
Jen told PEOPLE in May 2025, “Zac and I can’t run away from Chippendales apparently, but hey, we’ve seen the light at the end of the tunnel. If you’ve followed my social media, you know that. We’ve taken some trips to Chippendales now, so now it’s something that we laugh about. Obviously it’s still traumatising to think about actually what we went through regarding Chippendales. Can’t seem to run away from it.”
On their marriage, Jen was refreshingly honest: “Do we love each other? Yes. Are we willing to put in the work to be better? Yes. Have there been moments when we wanted to walk away? Absolutely. But there is so much more to our marriage and what we provide for each other than what people realise.”
The pair are now expecting their third child, with Jen telling PEOPLE in a February interview, “I have a strong feeling it’s a girl. I’ve dreamed about this little girl for a while now, and I truly believe she’s the one I’m carrying”.
Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura

Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura’s marriage has been through the wringer this season, thanks to a crossover reality TV cheating scandal. The drama kicked off during a crossover with Vanderpump Villa, when server Marciano Brunette claimed he and Jessi had slept together and were still in contact — even saying Jessi’s husband, Jordan, didn’t know “how extensive” their connection was.
As if that wasn’t enough, there were also rumours floating around that Jessi and Marciano were spotted kissing at TomTom in LA.
Jessi, for her part, denied the public make-out, quipping on the show, “If I was dumb enough to do that, I wouldn’t do it in public”. But when the season finale rolled around, Marciano doubled down, and Jessi responded with a cryptic Instagram post: “I’ll speak when I can.”
Since then, Jessi has addressed the state of her marriage in a string of interviews and a candid appearance on The Viall Files podcast. She admitted she hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring and that things are “a little tricky right now”, explaining, “We’re working through things, and we’re trying our best, but things are a bit complicated right now. I look forward to hopefully sharing more about it in the future. Right now, it’s just real life, and it can be tough.”
When asked if she thought Jordan was a good role model for their daughter, Jessi didn’t sugarcoat it: “No… I think that there’s been a lot that’s happened, and I think that he and I are both willing to work on things and change. But maybe he should be asked that question because that might wake him up.”
So, while Jessi and Jordan are technically still together and “working through things”, it’s clear the road ahead is anything but smooth — and, judging by Jessi’s hints, there’s still a lot more to this story waiting to come out.
Demi and Bret Engemann

Despite a season full of cheating rumours (on both sides), Demi and Bret are still together and, according to Demi, “solid”. She told Us Weekly in May 2025, “We’re good. I communicate with him and I’m honest to a fault. So every step of the way, I’ve communicated from jumping out of Vanderpump Villa, going back to the hotel and Bret was the first person I called and just laid everything out — the whole experience.”
On the cheating rumours, Demi said, “He’s been nothing but supportive and nothing but understanding. He has been so sweet and just really sought to understand me and helped me in the best way that he possibly can… So we’re just focused on what we can control and focused on being communicative with each other and we’re solid.”
So, despite the whispers, they’re still together and putting on a united front.
Layla Taylor and Cameron Jolley

Layla Taylor’s second season on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was a big one for her love life — she introduced viewers to her boyfriend, Cameron Jolley, marking the first time she’d brought a partner onto the show. Layla, who’s been open about her divorce from ex-husband Clayton Wessel, told PEOPLE she was “excited to show that aspect of dating as a single mom, especially in Utah”, even if she admitted, “the Utah dating scene is actually atrocious”.
During the season Layla asked Cameron if making her orgasm is a priority, continuing the storyline from season one where Layla admits she’s never experienced an orgasm. And thankfully our girl got her first big O this season with Cameron and I couldn’t be more happy for her!
Despite all the new beginnings, things with Cameron fizzled out not long after filming wrapped. Layla confirmed the breakup, telling Parade in May 2025, “We aren’t together anymore. We broke up shortly after we wrapped filming for season two. I wish him the best. It just didn’t work out. In terms of me dating now, I am focusing on myself, focusing on my kids.”
Whitney and Conner Leavitt

Whitney and Conner are still together, even after all the speculation about their marriage and Conner’s sexuality. Whitney told PEOPLE in May 2025, “I have family, I have Conner, and we know what’s real. And so, I can go to sleep at night knowing that I’m with the love of my life, my best friend, and he knows me and I know him, and what else really matters? These people don’t really know who we are.”
She also said, “I’m unbothered” by the speculation, and that “we’re so fun. So, it just doesn’t bother us”. They recently bought a new home together, and Whitney says their youngest, Billy, “completes the family, for sure, because I’m out. I’m tapped out, girl. Three’s the new six in Utah”.
Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry

Mikayla and Jace are still married and expecting their fourth child. Mikayla told TODAY in February 2025, “It’s so surreal to me that we’ll be a family of six. I feel like my Mormon roots are really coming through.”
She’s been open about their journey from teen parents to reality TV, and Jace has been supportive throughout. “Couldn’t possibly be happier about who I get to be with every day and who my son gets to have for his mother,” Jace wrote on Instagram after their first child was born.
Mayci and Jacob Neeley

Mayci and Jacob Neeley are still together, and honestly, their story was one of the most beautiful to learn about this season. Before she met Jacob, Mayci’s first partner, Arik Mack, died in a car accident when she was pregnant with their son, Hudson.
Mayci opened up about how tough that time was, saying she was “utterly destroyed” and fell into a deep depression after losing Arik.
She’s talked about how becoming a single mum so young was incredibly hard, but it also gave her a reason to keep going.
After meeting Jacob when Hudson was just a baby, Mayci slowly built a new life. They got married in 2018 and later welcomed their daughter, Harlow. But starting a family again wasn’t easy — Mayci shared that both Harlow and her current pregnancy are thanks to IVF. She’s been super honest about the ups and downs of IVF, telling ABC News that “you have to be really stress-free, which is not always easy filming a show”.
When she announced her third pregnancy, Mayci wrote, “Baby #3 is on the way and we couldn’t be happier!” and said her kids are already fighting over whose baby it is. Through all the heartbreak, healing, and IVF shots, Mayci and Jacob are still going strong and Im not crying, you are!!
Miranda McWhorter

Miranda McWhorter’s arrival on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was absolute chaos at first. If you’ve been following the MomTok universe, you’ll know Miranda was once Taylor Frankie Paul’s BFF, right up until the great “soft-swinging” scandal of 2022 blew up their friendship and, honestly, half of TikTok.
Miranda’s marriage to Chase McWhorter — who we unfortunately met on the show — didn’t survive the fallout, and she’s been refreshingly honest about it all. She told PEOPLE, “They can be obviously hard to talk about. Me personally, obviously it took me time to be open about all of that, but I think it shows that you can be open and honest, whether or not you’re judged.”
These days, Miranda is single and, by her own admission, not exactly trawling the Utah dating apps. She told PEOPLE in a separate article, “I’m single, but I don’t know that I would say I’m dating. I’m just kind of trying to have life experiences and really soak up the time with it just being me and my babies… I’m not currently really looking to date.”
With all this drama, heartbreak, and a few surprise reconciliations, it’s anyone’s guess where these couples will land next — but we’ll just have to tune in to season three to see how it all plays out.
In the meantime, I’ll be watching season one and two again on Disney+.
