After spending nine seasons with the New England Patriots, Julian Edelman is accustomed to sky-high expectations.
For New England, the realistic goal in mind every season is a Super Bowl victory — anything less is considered a failed year. That mindset keeps the locker room hungry and ready for the next ring, even if they did win two out of the last three Super Bowls.
Edelman appeared on the “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night, and had a Patriot-like response when asked about his favorite ring.
Edelman was the Super Bowl MVP last season, and he’s collected three rings so far. Tom Brady isn’t finished in his pursuit of championships, and it could lead Edelman and the team into yet another Super Bowl in the near future.
