pNew research released today by a href=https://www.moneysupermarket.com/car-insurance/job-titles/ rel=nofollow target=_selfMoneySuperMarket/a reveals that, for the second year running, footballers retain the trophy for paying the most for their car insurance at #xA3;1,942 a year #x2013; over four times the average car insurance premium of #xA3;473./p pThe price comparison website looked at over five million car insurance enquiries to identify how your job title can impact your car insurance premium./p pThe research finds that a diverse range of professions pay the highest premiums, with footballers top (#xA3;1,942), followed by car wash attendants (#xA3;1,616) and sportspeople (#xA3;1,559). Fast food delivery drivers (#xA3;1,537) and abattoir workers (#xA3;1,487) make up the remaining top five./p pAt the other end of the scale, guest house owners (#xA3;258), typists (#xA3;271), and those who are retired (#xA3;275) have the cheapest car insurance rates.
