The Premier League will be showing every match on television during the first month of the 2020/21 season.
September will have all 28 of its matches televised - and there is a selection being shown on free-to-air TV.
Initially, it was not the plan to make all matches televised. But after outrage from the Football Supporters Association, with some supporters then being unable to watch their clubs’ games, a Premier League meeting reversed its decision.
Sky Sports and BT Sport initially had 17 matches to be shown live, with the extra 11 now being dished out to the division’s main broadcasters.
Sky have been given another six games, with BT Sport having three more and BBC showing one, likewise Amazon Prime.
