Which petrol stations have fuel? Updates from BP, Texaco, Shell and Tesco

Petrol forecourts across the country are continuing to see lower supplies and long queues as people rush to fill their cars with fuel.

Panic buying started over the weekend after suppliers said they were having problems getting fuel to some stations because of a shortage of delivery drivers.

Queues continued on Monday as some retailers said up to 90% of their forecourts had been drained dry.

The Government is to change the law to make resupplying petrol stations easier and has put Army truck drivers on standby to deliver fuel.

Petrol suppliers have given the latest update on their stock levels, reports the Echo.

EG, which operates 400 stations under the name Esso, Texaco, Shell and BP, has a £30 cap on spending on fuel - as does Asda.

Esso owner Exxon says a "small number" of Tesco refilling stations have been impacted - running out of some fuel.

BP said around 20 of its 1,200 petrol forecourts were closed due to a lack of available fuel, with between 50 and 100 sites affected by the loss of at least one grade of fuel.

A Morrisons spokesman said: "It is a rapidly moving situation and we are working hard with our suppliers to ensure we can continue to keep our pumps open and serve our customers"

A Sainsbury's spokesman said: "We’re experiencing high demand for fuel. We’re working closely with our supplier to maintain supply and all our sites continue to receive fuel."
