Which offensive linemen in 2020 draft fit Packers’ tendencies?

The Green Bay Packers have a specific type along the offensive line.

Under the direction of Ted Thompson and current GM Brian Gutekunst, the Packers have established clear tendencies when it comes to athletic profile along the offensive line, as documented here by Justis Mosqueda. They generally want a 10-yard split at or under 1.8 seconds, a three-cone time at or under 7.70 seconds and a short shuttle time at or under 4.75 seconds.

They will make some slight exceptions. For instance, Elgton Jenkins had a 10-yard split of 1.78 seconds and a short shuttle of 4.62 seconds, but his three-cone drill time of 7.77 seconds was a little over the mark. So there’s a touch of wiggle room here.

The Packers have an obvious need at offensive tackle. Rick Wagner will replace Bryan Bulaga at right tackle, but the 30-year-old has to be considered a short-term option. Expect one of the Packers’ draft picks to be used on an offensive tackle next month.

The coronavirus has greatly abbreviated the draft process, eliminating most pro days and pre-draft visits, so most teams – including the Packers – have much less information on prospects.

Here’s who fits the profile based on the information from the combine (Offensive tackle unless otherwise marked. IOL is interior offensive line):
