Which new inventions would you like to be created in an ideal sporting world?

The Argentina Football Association has confirmed it will utilise a new vanishing spray in order for referees to prevent encroachment at free-kicks in the country's top flight from next season. Following up on an idea initially used in Brazil, the AFA will arm all officials with 115g cans, which will dispense a white line on the pitch to mark where the wall should stand, before the mark disappears.

Pablo Silva, a sports journalist who claims to have invented the spray, says he devised the idea after his days as an amateur player. "When I took the kick, the wall was three metres away," he recalled of one incident. "The referee didn't book anyone and didn't do anything. We lost the game and, driving home later with a mixture of anger and bitterness, I thought that we must invent something to stop this."

So, which other inventions would you like to be created in an ideal football and sporting world?
