Which LoL champion says ‘Close your eyes and let the cold take you’?

It’s almost summer, yet it’s still cold outside here in dreary England. This League of Legends champion is obviously also accustomed to the cold, but who says “Close your eyes and let the cold take you” in today’s LoLdle?

LoLdle quote June 6 hints

Hint 1: This champion hit the live servers in 2013.

2013 was a pretty spectacular year for League releases. We were graced with eight glorious champions, including some of my very favorites to date. Thresh, Lucian, Jinx, and Yasuo all made their debuts that year—but so did this champion. I wonder who it could be.

Hint 2: This champion is a mid laner.

This champion was clearly designed as a mid laner, but they have been known to work well in the top and bot lane. They’re an AP mage, but they’re good at roaming and pinning down their enemies, making them a versatile pick.

Hint 3: This champion is from The Freljord.

You could have probably guessed, but this champion comes from the harsh and unforgiving Freljord. They’re a freezing cold champion with ice in their veins. Catch them hanging out in ARAM, screaming their lungs out.

Who says “Close your eyes and let the cold take you”?

Answer: The champion who says, “Close your eyes and let the cold take you” is Lissandra, the Ice Witch.

Of course, it’s Lissandra. This frosty champion basically lives and breathes the cold, so it’s no wonder they keep talking about it. They’re known as the “Ice Witch,” to be fair, and all of their abilities involve ice in one form or another.

How many guesses did it take you to get to Lissandra? Let us know in the comments below and check back tomorrow for the next LoLdle puzzle!
