You have and it’s all very overwhelming? Understandable.
Don't particularly fancy picking a horse based on it having an interesting name either? No worries.
What you need is some cold, hard data to choose your horse. You can do exactly that with our Grand National 2019 widget.
It takes into account key details of the 40 runners and riders into a database and created an algorithm to aid you in making a choice. All you need to do is move the sliders on the gadget to tell us how important it is to you to have a horse in good form, a horse among the favourites, a horse with a low (or high) handicap, and a horse with a highly-rated jockey.
Once you are happy, click “find my horse” and we’ll show you the best match.
Want the top jockey? Then slide the horse on the jockey bar to the right and towards the finishing post.
If you want the favourite, then slide the horse on the odds bar to the right.
But choose wisely, you can't slide each of the horses right to the finishing line. The combined distance travelled of all the horses can only be as far as two whole bars.
