The prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place later this week from 10-13 July, and a number of former and present Formula 1 drivers are set to appear at the event.
A large part of the celebrations at Goodwood House are dedicated to the 75th anniversary of F1, meaning visitors can expect to see legends of the championship from across the past few decades. Among those scheduled to attend are Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, and Mario Andretti.
1992 world champion Mansell will be driving his championship-winning FW14B and race-winning FW11 up the Hillclimb.
“I’m looking forward to returning to the Festival of Speed this summer and celebrating 75 years of the Formula 1 World Championship,” Mansell told Goodwood. “It’s been amazing to drive the Goodwood Hillclimb in a number of my cars over the years, and I can’t wait to do it all again!”
Prost, Mansell, and Andretti will be joined by fellow champions Sir Jackie Stewart, Emerson Fittipaldi, Jacques Villeneuve, Damon Hill, and Mika Hakkinen. They will be part of the Champions class during the four-day event.
The Haas F1 team is also set to celebrate its 10th anniversary in the championship. Joining current drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman will be team owner Gene Haas, who will be driving the VF23 on the famous Hillclimb.

Making his Festival of Speed debut will be Sauber driver Gabriel Bortoleto. The Brazilian driver will get behind the wheel of the C32, which was raced by his current team-mate Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Gutierrez in the 2013 season.
"Driving the Hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is something I’ve always wanted to do,” said Bortoleto. “A unique opportunity to see the most iconic racing and road cars up close and in action.”
Racing Bulls also announced that rookie driver Liam Lawson will be present at the event and will drive the Red Bull RB7, which will be wrapped in a VCARB livery.
Other notable appearances include Williams driver ambassador and three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick, Williams F1 Academy driver Lia Block, and team principal James Vowles. Alpine reserve drivers Kush Maini and Paul Aron are also scheduled to attend the event to drive the A523, which will sport the French team's 2025 livery.
