Which Everton legend should have a statue at proposed new Bramley-Moore stadium

Everton fans are debating which one of the club's greats they would like to see honoured with a statue at the proposed Bramley-Moore stadium.

The Blues are moving along with plans to build as new state-of-the-art ground on Liverpool's famous waterfront, with potential designs set to be released in the summer ahead of the second stage of consultation taking place.

However, as we have known from the start, the move is more than just a new stadium.

The People's Project have been engaging with supporters on Twitter throughout the process on a wide-range of topics involving the new stadium, the legacy at Goodison Park and much more.

And the latest has caused an interesting debate.

Everton have a long and illustrious history with handfuls of legends to choose from but currently only one of those, top goalscorer Dixie Dean, has a statue outside Goodison Park.

So, in the move over to Bramley-Moore , who else should get one?

The question was put to Blues supporters and, as you might expect, there were a wide range of suggestions.
