Romesh begins hosting The Weakest Link with The Weakest Link Strictly Special on Saturday at 6.10pm on BBC One.
The Weakest Link Christmas Special featuring panto stars is on December 23, at 6.30pm on BBC One.
These two episodes form part of the 12-part new series of The Weakest Link. The Strictly and Christmas Specials and all subsequent episodes of The Weakest Link will also become available on BBCiPlayer shortly after they air.
Taking part in this weekend's show are eight famous contestants - all of whom have a Strictly Come Dancing connection.
These are Anton Du Beke, Janette Manrara, Catherine Tyldesley, Dr Ranj Singh, Emma Barton, Clara Amfo, HRVY and Ore Oduba.
And at the end of each round, they must vote off the player they believe is the worst.
A trailer for the new-look show was released by the BBC.
The clip sees Romesh look into the camera and say: "The BBC said they wanted to go in a different direction with this show, and apparently the opposite of Anne Robinson is an overweight Asian man in his 40s.
"Welcome to The Weakest Link."
