Which bars will be first to pour Bourbon County Stout? Here's the list.

Nov. 11--Standing in a painfully long line isn't the only way to get your hands on Goose Island's heralded Bourbon County beers this year.

The brewery on Wednesday announced a series of events, beginning the day before Thanksgiving, at which a deep lineup of Bourbon Counties -- yes, that's now the official plural -- will be poured on tap. Many of the events feature the entire lineup of 2015 Bourbon County beers, plus iterations from past years.

Nov. 25

The Beer Bistro (1061 W. Madison St.), 7 p.m.

Fountainhead (1970 W. Montrose Ave.), 7 p.m.

Dusek's (1227 W. 18th St.), 7 p.m.

Sheffield's Beer Wine Garden (3258 N. Sheffield Ave.), 7 p.m.

Nov. 26

It's Thanksgiving. Don't chase beer. Stay home! Relax!

Nov. 27

Goose Island Clybourn Pub (1800 N. Clybourn Ave.), 10 a.m.

Fatpour (2005 W. Division St.), 2 p.m.

Whirlyball (1825 W. Webster Ave.), 2 p.m.

Timothy O'Toole's (622 N. Fairbanks Court), 5 p.m.

O'Tooles (Libertyville and Gurnee locations), 5 p.m.

Plank Road Taproom (39W149 Plank Road, Elgin), time to be determined

Bottles of 2015 Bourbon County beers will be released Nov. 27, with the major release at Binny's Beverage Depot in Lincoln Park (1720 N. Marcey St.) beginning at 9 a.m. The line is expected to start forming the night before.
