Travel bookings are gathering pace ahead of the anticipated change in lockdown restrictions on December 2.
Thousands of people are desperate to jet away to catch some winter sun - despite no clear indication whether the UK Government will ease restrictions on overseas travel.
It is anticipated that the 14-day quarantine rule for passengers returning to the UK will be reduced to around seven days and this has sparked renewed hope for sunseekers.
For those with itchy feet who plan to hop on a plane the moment it’s possible, Holiday Extras, the travel add-ons specialist, has rounded up current quarantine-free possibilities.
The full list of destinations included in Holiday Extras ’ quarantine-free round up are:
Antigua and Barbuda
Canary Islands
Cuba
Dubai
Gibraltar
Greece (specific islands)
Madeira
Maldives
Seychelles
St Kitts and Nevis
St Martin and St Barthelemy

Included in the list are countries that:
- Will currently let British tourists in without a quarantine
- Are included in the UK travel corridor, so quarantining upon return isn’t required either
- Can be reached by direct flight, or via a connecting airport that’s also on the travel corridor list (to again avoid quarantining upon return to the UK.)
Madeira makes the list because it can be reached directly with no quarantine measures at either end – however this not not apply to fellow Portuguese islands, the Azores.
It’s currently not possible to travel to the Azores without connecting via Lisbon, which requires quarantine upon returning to the UK. Taking these aspects into account, there are plenty of places for a hassle-free holiday once lockdown ends.
