Where you can still get a hot tub as stores sell out

Home and garden stores are reporting unprecedented demand as the UK closes in on a month of lockdown measures.

Stores such as B&Q and Wickes have already introduced queues to websites to cope with the high demand for garden furniture, BBQs, plants and home DIY equipment.

However, one item has proved to be so popular it has sold out across the UK - the home hot tub. People who want to introduce a touch of luxury to their garden are finding the mini pools almost impossible to find.

Last week online retailer Very cut the price of a Lay-Z-Spa Paris hot tub to just £450 but it quickly sold out. Online giant Amazon is also reporting Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs are sold out in a number of sizes.

Meanwhile, Argos has warned many hot tubs have sold out on its website. The retailer does still stock hot tubs for gardens but there are now limited options.

Argos is selling a hot tub for £320 for those looking for a cheaper option and at the time of writing it is listed as being in stock. A five-seven person option is also available for £600 on the Argos website.

Homebase has also cut the price of hot tubs, alongside a 20% off all garden furniture sale. The retailer is selling hot tubs for £400, down from £500. The discounted hot tub is the Lay-Z-Spa Hawaii for four to six people. You can see it here.
