Where you can get lateral flow tests in Bristol this week before having to pay

The government will no longer be providing free lateral flow tests to most of the British public from April 1, as part of its plan for 'living with' Covid. Boris Johnson announced the end of all remaining restrictions in England last week, including the legal requirement to self-isolate if you test positive.

Anyone who needs an LFT from April 1 will have to pay between £2 and £5 per individual test kit, or around £20 for a pack of seven, according to government sources. Until then, LFTs can be ordered for free on the government website or can be picked up at rapid testing centres, one box at time.

Bristol City Council has announced where LFTs can be collected in Bristol this week. Anyone who wants to take a test can do so at a rapid testing van, or can take a test kit to do at home. Test kits are also available to collect in some leisure centres and libraries.
