Tiger Woods snapped an 11-year winless streak at major championships by capturing the green jacket at Augusta National Golf Club last weekend, and he’s currently the betting favorite to win the upcoming PGA Championship, which has moved from its traditional August placement to mid-May. Fans may only see Woods once before he returns to Bethpage Black, the site of his 2002 U.S. Open victory.

April 25-28: Zurich Classic of New Orleans
May 2-5: Wells Fargo Championship
May 9-12: AT&T Byron Nelson

Woods typically never plays the week prior to a major championship, you can safely expect him to skip the Byron Nelson. He’s not in the field for this week’s RBC Heritage at Harbour Town, and is highly unlikely to ever play the Zurich Classic, which became a unique team event in 2017.
Assuming Woods is planning to tee it up before he returns to Bethpage, however, the Wells Fargo Championship wouldn’t be a surprising stop. Woods has struggled in his most recent visits to Quail Hollow, finishing T55 at 2-over par in 2018 and missing the cut in 2012 and 2010, but he won the Wachovia Championship in 2007 at the course.
Looking past the PGA Championship, Woods will likely only have one additional non-major start – at Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Championship – before the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. Tiger will then have just over a month to prepare for the final major of the season, the Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
