It just did not work out for Gonzalo Higuain at Chelsea.
But the Argentine is scoring goals again back in Italy - and he has popped up with a vital strike tonight (Sunday).
Higuain netted in the 80th minute of the top-of-the-table clash between Inter Milan and Juventus at the San Siro to help Maurizio Sarri's Juventus side to a 2-1 win, which moved them to the summit of Serie A, dislodging their opponents from the top spot.
It was Higuain's third goal in eight appearances for Juventus in all competitions this season, since returning from his loan spell with Chelsea.
But the 31-year-old failed to shine in west London, scoring five goals in 18 appearances for the Blues after joining on loan in January.
Higuain moved to Chelsea to link up again with Sarri, who he worked with at Napoli in a successful spell in Italy, prior to joining Juventus in 2016.
However, he was not a success at Chelsea , with the Blues opting not to take up the option of signing him, following the conclusion of his loan spell.
That was despite Chelsea being subject to a transfer ban this summer, with the Blues not able to register new players.
But after his goal against Inter Milan this evening, some fans have been saying the same thing about Higuain, as can be seen below.
