
The Traitors, the hit mystery reality TV show, has just concluded its first season in Ireland, and fans can’t get enough.
Premiering on August 31 and fronted by Irish native Siobhán McSweeney, the show brought together 24 hopeful contestants who are willing to deceive fellow players to win the coveted prize money of €50,000 across 12 episodes.
"Like everyone, I am a huge Traitors fan. I'm looking forward to meeting our loyal Faithful and delicious Traitors,” said the Derry Girls presenter.
"The Irish have a charm and ability to deceive while smiling, which will make this version rather special, I think."
As with all the other international renditions, The Traitors Ireland guaranteed yet another gripping season full of twists and turns.
Filmed at the impressive Slane Castle, viewers watched as the group of traitors and faithful work to banish and outmanoeuvre each other as they edged closer to the prize.

Reports suggest that The Traitors Ireland may be heading to BBC iPlayer in the coming months, though there’s no official date for this yet.
According to reports, several other seasons of Traitors, as well as a celebrity version, are also expected to arrive on the streaming platform soon.
