Several venues across Bristol will be opening their doors today (September 19) to provide a communal space for people to watch The Queen's funeral in London and say their final goodbye to the monarch. Mourners across the world will be paying their final respects to Queen Elizabeth II as she is laid to rest at her state funeral.
Since last Wednesday, the monarch has been lying in state at Westminster Hall and thousands have paid their respects, having to queue for hours in order to do so. The Queen's lying-in-state at Westminster Hall came to an end at 6.30am this morning, with the Abbey opening to funeral attendees at 8am.
A procession carrying her coffin will travel the short distance from Westminster Hall, around Parliament Square to the Abbey shortly before 11am. As many as 2,000 guests are expected to attend the funeral, which is expected to finish around noon.
