IDK about you, but when I think back to how I dressed in high school, my toes curl at just how cringey my outfits were. That one Kookai bralette every girl and her dog wore paired with ripped jeans, colourful fishnets and Dr Martens… it was very of the time. Unlike us, our favourite divas from Heartbreak High certainly know their way around an outfit.
Heartbreak High always has some pretty sick outfits, but in the latest (and final) season, the costume designers and stylists really took things to the next level. While watching, I spotted some of my favourite local labels — like Amerie’s (Ayesha Madon) ‘athletico babi’ jersey from Melbourne brand Lucinda Babi — and discovered a bunch of brands I’m now adding to my wishlist.

Amerie’s Outfit For Missy’s 18th Birthday Party
In episode three, Spider (Bryn Chapman Parish) organises for the gang to all dress up as Missy (Sherry-Lee Watson) for her 18th birthday party. Since she’s the resident footy player, most of the Hartley High group opt for footy-inspired jerseys and shorts. Amerie’s marshmallow pink and chocolate brown jersey of choice is from Melbourne-based brand Lucinda Babi. Unfortunately, all colours are out of stock, but since they’re one of the brand’s best-sellers, we’re crossing our fingers that there’ll be a restock. However, this jersey from Adidas is a pretty close second.
Quinni’s Showcase Outfit
If we want fun, colourful outfit inspiration, we turn to Quinni (Chloé Hayden). The puffy sleeve blue top she wore at Hartley High’s showcase was a standout this season, and we’ve hunted it down to Lazy Oaf. The bad news? It’s completely sold out. The good news? There are other styles just like it!
Harper’s Showcase Dress
Harper (Asher Yasbincek) really came through with the outfits this season, especially with her Year 12 showcase dress. It’s from a Chinese brand called 2th Desire, which do grungey, y2k-inspired pieces. I.AM.GIA has a similar version in a mini dress, if that’s more your style.
Darren’s Existential Crisis Outfit
Our resident drama diva, Darren Rivers (James Majoos) is wearing a tank top from Verner in his drama performance at the University open day. And great news — it’s on sale!
Amerie’s Road Trip Outfit
There’s no shortage of graphic T-shirts in Heartbreak High. One of my favourites amongst the series was the final one, Amerie’s cupid tee she wore when leaving for her road trip with Harper in the final episode. It’s a discontinued top from the Bonds x Double Rainbouu collaboration in 2025, but Etsy has a couple similar styles if you want to put your own spin on it.
Missy’s 18th Birthday Dress
Missy’s dress for her 18th birthday party was a showstopper. It’s from Australian label Bec + Bridge, and while the lilac colour is no longer available, it’s still stocked in baby yellow and brown. If you’ve got a school formal or your own birthday coming up and wanna throw a Heartbreak High-themed birthday, you’d nail the brief.
The SLTs Schoolies Outfits
The students of Hartley High are one stylish bunch. When the gang headed to the Gold Coast for schoolies, they brought their best ‘fits with them. Quinni is in a Glassons denim mini skirt (only available in New Zealand, unfortch), Sasha rocks a Klou Swim Reversible Tankini, Amerie’s in a Ripcurl boardshort-style skirt, and Harper is in a Cove Boutique Singlet (also unfortunately sold out). The SLTs Carnival Outfits
The carnival outfits that the Hartley High SLT’s pulled together had to be some of my absolute favourites from the season. Amerie’s denim dress and Malakai’s (Thomas Weatherall) knitted sweater were the standouts, but I still adored Darren’s sporty-chic moment, and Quinni’s revival of the jelly sandals. Unfortunately, Malakai’s knitted Zara vest is sold out, RIP. But in good news, Amerie’s dress is not only in stock, but on sale!
Amerie’s Showcase Outfit
Amerie’s showcase outfit was a stunning black corset mini dress. While we’re not sure of the exact brand, I.AM.GIA has an LBD that’s pretty bang on.
Amerie’s Muck Up Day Outfit
Amerie, the woman you are! Coming through with the outfits time and time again. Her muck up day ensemble was a set from Adidas Originals that’s unfortunately no longer available, but the brand has a pretty similar polo top in baby pink.
