Season 10, Week 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale is officially upon us, and with it another set of weekly challenges.
This season, challenges are broken up into Mission Bundles, and you have to solve the first challenges to unlock later challenges. Once you’ve completed all seven normal challenges in the Mission Bundle, you have to unlock the Prestige challenges—slightly more difficult versions of the first batch.

This week’s Mission Bundle is called ‘Blockbuster’ which takes us way back to Season 4 when the meteor crashed into the center of Fortnite’s map, destroying the now-revived Dusty Divot and leaving a massive crater in its stead. We also saw the introduction of superheroes and supervillains, Risky Reels and much more. It was a combination superhero/film-set-themed season, and one of my favorites so far.
In any case, for one of this week’s challenges, players are tasked with searching between a basement camera, a snowy stone head and a flashy gold big rig. I always loved these “search between” challenges and I’m thrilled to see them return for Season 10, Week 5.
So where does one find the Battle Star located between these three points. Well, it turns out it’s just southwest of Tilted Town and just northwest of Shifty Shafts, right here on the map:
As you can see, this is on the border of C6 and D6, on a snowy rise just northeast of the frozen lake where Greasy Grove used to be (RIP, Greasy). Here’s a zoomed in shot of the location:
On the top of this mound, looking down over the forest surrounding Shifty Shafts, you’ll find a little patch of bare earth, like so:
Dirt and grass and such is all peaking through the tundra, and this is where you’ll find the hidden Battle Star.
It’s right smack between the flashy gold big rig—a large, futuristic truck just at the bottom of the slop between Tilted Town and Shifty Shafts—the basement camera—located in southernmost house west of Shifty Shafts—and the snowy stone head, which is located just to the west, on the snowy hill above the frozen lake.
Interact with the Battle Star and you’ll gain one of the ‘Blockbuster’ Mission Bundle rewards. These work differently from past seasons. Challenges aren’t linked to specific rewards, rather each challenge unlocks another reward as you go. So the first reward may be 10 Battle Stars, the second XP, the third a cosmetic item and so forth, but it doesn’t really matter which challenge you complete in what order.
Remember also, there will be a ton of enemies at this point on the map today. That makes it dangerous, but it also provides a great opportunity for savvy players. If you can grab a weapon or two down at Shifty or at the frozen lake and hightail it to this location, you can take out some unarmed opponents. Just be cool and let them get the Battle Star first . . . .
