Update: It appears Epic has staggered the release of the Out Of Time challenges. This guide’s challenge will go live Wednesday at 9 am ET.
Well, for all its ups and downs, Season 10 has at least introduced some cool new Rift Zones and it’s done a pretty good job of rounding up some of the best things about the game’s first nine seasons.
Some of these Rift Zones have been new takes on old locations like Dusty Depot and Greasy Grove. Others have mixed up new and old locations, like Moisty Palms. And others have been plucked from elsewhere entirely–like Pandora from Borderlands 3 and Gotham City from Batman, which replaced Tilted Town (which had replaced Neo Tilted, which itself replaced Tilted Towers).
Today, Season 10’s final challenges have gone live. These Overtime challenges are part of the ‘Out Of Time’ Mission Bundle. They include some basic stuff like dealing damage and searching chests, but also a handful of challenges tasking players with finding Visitor Recordings scattered across various Named Locations on Fortnite’s map.
For the purposes of this guide we’ll be looking at where the Visitor Recording in Gotham City is located. This is part of a two-part challenge. You can see where to find the Visitor Recording in Starry Suburbs here.
The Visitor Recording in Gotham City is located on the city’s western perimeter just outside of the movie theater that’s showing The Final Reckoning, here on the map:
You’ll find the Visitor Recording right there in the street outside the movie theater, so it should pose no issues scooping it up and earning the rewards. Those include a bunch of XP and three new Skin Styles for Battle Pass characters.

These Out Of Time challenges end on Sunday which is when we should expect the big live event to take place. What that will entail remains to be seen but I bet it’s big.
