You can find the Castle Detritus tucked away in a sack in the corner of the garden courtyard at the Beast's castle. The Beauty and the Beast Realm is quite large, and there are many items you need to recover throughout the A Guide to Better Castle-Keeping quest, so it can be quite tough to find this one. Here's a breakdown of how to get it.
- Enter the Beauty and the Beast Realm.
- Head straight down the hallway.
- Go up the stairs.
- At the top of the stairs, make a left.
- Walk down the hallway until you reach a dead end.
- Make a right.
- Go down the stairs.
- At the bottom of the stairs, turn left.
- Walk down the short hallway until you reach a dead end.
- Turn left again to enter the garden.
- Enter the maze and stick close to the left wall.
- Continue going straight, following the left wall, until you reach a dead end.
- Look down to find the Castle Detritus sack.
With this item now in your possession, you're one step closer to unlocking Lumiere and Cogsworth. There's still a bit more work to be done, though, like placing the Rose Garlands, so keep working through the A Guide to Better Castle-Keeping quest if you want to add two more villagers to your valley.
