Where to find Arashiyama Bamboo Forest in Forza Horizon 6

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is in the western part of the Ito region in Forza Horizon 6. The landmark surrounds the dirt road that cuts through the bamboo forest near the border between the Ito and Minamino regions.

The easiest way to find it is to look for the Arashiyama Run Speed Zone. It appears as an orange dirt-road route through the bamboo forest, roughly east-northeast of Shirakawa-Go, north-northwest of Ito Airfield, and west-northwest of Kitayama Big Daisugi.

If you have not discovered the area yet in Forza Horizon 6, drive northwest from Kitayama Big Daisugi or approach from the high bridge coming south from Hokubu. Once you enter the road through the bamboo forest, you’re essentially in the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is a real place, located just outside Kyoto, near the mesmerizing Tenryū-ji temple.

How to complete Bamboo Bash in Forza Horizon 6

Bamboo Bash is the Series 2 Week 2 Collectibles challenge in Forza Horizon 6. It asks you to smash 30 bamboo during the Autumn season of Horizon Decades, which runs from June 25 to July 2.

To complete Bamboo Bash quickly, fast travel to the Arashiyama Run Speed Zone or drive to the dirt road inside Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and then use almost any car to drive through the thinner bamboo along the roadside until the counter reaches 30.

You can use literally any car to complete the challenge in five seconds. Playground Games made this event more about finding the bamboo trees to smash rather than any other meaningful challenge.

Bamboo Bash is worth three Festival Playlist points and is one of the easiest challenges of Season 2 Week 2 of the Festival Playlist.

While you’re there, you can try completing the Arashiyama Run Speed Zone. Be advised, though, as it’s not an easy one. It’s an off-road Speed Zone, and the street is tight – something overly fast will inevitably crash, while something slow but steady will not hold the required 185.1 km/h. You need a car that’s both fast and stable, like last week’s reward, the 1986 Audi #2 Audi Sport quattro S1.
