In Chapter 2, Season 7 of Fortnite there are once again both Epic and Legendary quests to solve each week. This season’s Legendary challenges, however, are a little more interesting than previous seasons.
Instead of just doing the same thing over and over again—like catch fish or get pistol eliminations—each week has five stages of Legendary challenges that are each different from one another. So this week’s Legendary challenges are:
- Interact with a Dead Drop in Weeping Woods (1) – 45,000 XP
- Step Onto a Body Scanner (1) – 30,000 XP
- Converse with Rich Sanchez, Rook, Marigold, Maven or Special Forces (3) – 30,000 XP
- Deal Damage with IO Tech Weapons (200) – 30,000 XP
- Damage an IO Guard (1) – 30,000 XP
For the purposes of this guide we’ll look at where to converse with Rick Sanchez, Rook, Marigold, Maven or Special Forces. You only need to chat up three of these NPCs, but here’s where all five of them are on the map:
- Maven is north of the Orchard in the satellite installation between Steamy Stacks and Craggy Cliffs
- Rick Sanchez is in a satellite installation in the hills to the west of Lazy Lake
- You’ll find Marigold in the southeast corner of Lazy Lake
- Special Forces is at the entrance to the mysterious base in the mountainside next to Catty Corner
- Rook is at the satellite installation to the west of Dirty Docks
Once you’ve spoken with three of these NPCs you’ll be awarded 30,000 XP and earn a handful of Battle Stars. Pretty easy!
