As of right now, finding Kill Team: Tomb World stock is more difficult than tracking down a Necron who doesn't want to crush the Imperium beneath its metal heel. Honestly, it feels as though everyone wants a piece of this new season.
You shouldn't give up on the box set, though. Even though Kill Team: Tomb World stock is sold out practically everywhere, a few retailers do have the box set. In addition, I've seen others provide more units before selling out again later. That's why I've gone spelunking into the depths of the deals necro(n)polis to find you whatever I can. It's a slim hope, but at this stage we have to take whatever we can get.
No matter what, you'll need to be fast. Unless you've been stuck on a Blackstone Fortress in the deepest reaches of space, you've probably heard that Kill Team: Tomb World is... well, a little tricky to find. And by tricky, I mean "a bloody nightmare." Unfortunately for fans of the Warhammer 40K spinoff, it sold out almost instantly when pre-orders went live. Folks have been scrambling to find a copy ever since, and that means you've got stiff competition. That's why I'll be keeping you informed of what I find - if stock is available, you'll hear about it here.
Kill Team: Tomb World stock in the US
Kill Team: Tomb World stock is a little easier to get your hands on now than it was at launch... but be aware you'll be paying over the odds. I've seen a couple of retailers with the box set in-hand, but they're charging more than the $250 MSRP. It really comes down to how long you're willing to wait; the further we get from release, the more those prices will come down. Then again, there's no guarantee more stock will arrive. Is it worth the risk? That's something you'll need to weigh up, but my gut says more units are gonna turn up before the year is done. That's not based on anything, just that I doubt publisher Games Workshop are gonna leave it at a single wave. It's sold too well for that.

Kill Team: Tomb World stock in the UK
Now that Kill Team: Tomb World stock is officially out, I'm starting to see it appear in more stores. However, the price is often over-inflated... and even though certain retailers are getting the box-set back in after selling out, it vanishes very quickly. If you see a copy at a reasonable price (e.g. not much more than the £155 RRP), jump on it fast.

Kill Team: Tomb World stock FAQ

What is the Kill Team: Tomb World release day?
The Kill Team: Tomb World box set is due to launch on Saturday September 13, 2025. Some stock will appear then, like in physical Warhammer stores. Because it's the latest core box for the system, it shouldn't be a one-and-done; I'd be very surprised if it wasn't reprinted for another wave post-launch.
Why is Kill Team: Tomb World stock so hard to find?
It's hard to say exactly why Kill Team: Tomb World stock has been so hard to come by ahead of launch, but if I had to guess, I think it comes down to a couple of factors. First up, unscrupulous resellers (a blight on hobbyists across a variety of industries) have a habit of snatching up multiple copies of a highly-anticipated item so that they can resell them at an absurd mark-up. Just go to eBay if you want an in-progress example of this.
Secondly, demand is outstripping supply. It's unclear why that's the case, and the reseller issue directly feeds into this. Fortunately, publisher Games Workshop tends to release secondary waves of a product after release. That means all is not lost if you missed out first time around.
Why is everyone so excited about Kill Team: Tomb World?
The reason there's so much hype around Tomb World is pretty simple; to begin with, it's darn cool. The two features teams include a squad of what are essentially black ops Space Marines (Deathwatch) and our first Necron crew in a long while. In addition, the Tomb World terrain is very nice indeed - it's a dungeon with robot skeletons. What's not to love?
On a more serious note, it's also the start of a new Kill Team season. The terrain and rules here will be used for all the following releases, so it's an essential foundation for the year ahead.
