The new England Women's Euro 2022 kits have been officially launched ahead of this summer's European tournament. Unveiled by Nike, both the home and away kits are now available for sale and confirm the previously seen leaked designs.
The kits, made and available now through Nike , have been released as the Lionesses prepare for the Women's Euro 2022 which kicks off at Old Trafford on Wednesday, July 6. England will face Austria in the first game of the tournament which is being hosted at venues across England. Also in England's group A are Northern Ireland and Norway.
Tell me about the new home kit
This year Nike have gone for something a little different in terms of design. The new white home kit features shimmering geometrical design across the front of the kit, rather than the usual plain white.
The biggest change is the inclusion of an iridescent England badge which colours appear to change depending on which angle you look at it. The Nike logo has also changed from blue to green.
What about the away kit?
England's new away kit is also far from the traditional previous shirts which this time comes in a bright coral red. Featuring a burgundy trim on the sleeves and collar, there is also a triangle pattern on the back of the collar in shades of red. The badge on the away shirt, and the Nike logo, is a glossy burgundy following a similar design to the home shirt.
Fans can not only get excited about the bold, new designs, but can also revel in the fact that you are doing your bit for the environment too. Both shirts have been made with at least 75% recycled polyester that started life as recycled plastic bottles.
Where can I buy the new kits?
The kits are now available to purchase via the Nike online store. The home shirt retails at £114.95 while the away shirt costs £74.95. Both shirts range in sizes from an XS (size 4-6) to an XL (size 20-22).
