The Saatva Classic is the best mattress we've tested for all sleep styles and the easiest way to buy any bed in Saatva's luxury mattress collection is to shop at the Saatva online store.
Shopping online not only gives you access to the full Saatva sleep collection, including bedding and furniture, but you will also enjoy the brand's market-leading perks, such as a 365-night sleep trial.
Saatva does operate some in-person shopping experiences but these aren't your traditional mattress stores. Saatva Viewing Rooms are brick-and-mortar buildings where you can get hands-on with the best Saatva mattresses but before you take your dream bed home, you need to order it online.
Here we'll be exploring where you can buy a Saatva mattress, including the place to shop for the best of the Saatva mattress sales. We'll also give you an insight into our experience at a Saatva Viewing Room, so you know what to expect.
What is a Saatva mattress?
The Saatva mattress line-up features beds handcrafted in the United States to suit every sleep style. Offering luxury akin to the mattresses used in hotels. many Saatva beds can be customized with your preferred firmness level. There are nine adult Saatva mattresses plus a kids' mattress, a crib mattress, and a bunk mattress. There's even a Saatva pet bed (for very pampered pooches.)
Beyond the hybrid innerspring design of the Classic, the Saatva line-up features a diverse collection of beds. As well as all-foam designs such as the Contour5, Saatva offers latex beds, double-sided mattresses, and remote controlled beds.

Saatva mattresses are often available in different heights and feels, broadening the appeal of each bed.. You never have to pay more to choose a feel (or a height), so you can fine-tune the mattress to suit your needs.
Each mattress is made to order and shipped flat, with free installation in your bedroom. Saatva's installation team will also take away any packaging materials and even your old mattress and bed frame (if arranged in advance).
Where to buy a Saatva mattress online
Saatva mattresses are sold online through its website. From its inception in 2010, Saatva has managed to sell handmade luxury mattresses at much lower prices than its legacy rivals as Serta and Sealy. (Saatva CEO Ron Rudzin shared more details about this with us in a recent interview.)
Saatva mattress prices start at $1,499 for a queen and range up to $4,599, with most mattresses costing around $2,000-$3,500 for a queen size. Traditionally, the Black Friday mattress sales in November have had the lowest prices, but we've spotted comparable discounts during other major sales events, including Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th.

The best discounts are always available on the brand's website, as Saatva mattresses aren't sold through third parties. Occasionally, discounted Saatva beds appear on mattress liquidator sites, but you'll have to act fast to snap up these deals. You also won't be able to shop the full Saatva range and you'll miss out on Saatva's industry-leading benefits.
All mattresses purchased from the Saatva website come with a 365-night sleep trial, a lifetime warranty, and free white glove delivery, meaning a delivery team will take your mattress directly to any room within your home, set it up on the bed frame, and remove your old mattress.
Where to buy a Saatva mattress in store
Saatva is, first and foremost, an online mattress and sleep accessories company, so it doesn’t have traditional retail stores. Instead it offers Saatva Viewing Rooms.
Located in major metro areas across the US, these Viewing Rooms enable guests to try out Saatva mattresses in person and speak to a Saatva Sleep Guide on-site. It's largely a self-guided experience, as you can find information about each mattress through accompanying kiosks.
There are currently 29 Saatva Viewing Rooms, including a flagship location in Midtown Manhattan and a Philadelphia Viewing Room, which we toured. Saatva has rapidly expanded its selection of Viewing Rooms, so we expect more to arrive this year.

Once you've chosen your mattress, you can place an order in-store with the help of a Saatva Sleep Guide. They'll also introduce you to the offers available — just as you would if you ordered online from your own home.
However, unlike some mattress stores, you won't be able to leave with your Saatva mattress. You still have to wait for it to be delivered to your home via free white glove delivery.
The major benefit of the in-person experience is access to Saatva's sleep experts, plus the opportunity to test out the bed. However, while a few minutes hands-on testing can help you learn about the bed, it's during Saatva's one-year sleep trial you'll decide if it's the right mattress for you.

Where to buy Saatva mattress toppers and bedding
As well as offering quality mattresses, Saatva sells a range of luxury bedding and furniture. Saatva bedding is only sold online but if you're able to visit a viewing room then you can check out a selection of bedding, furniture and decor items on offer.

If you’re looking to upgrade your entire bedroom, you can purchase bed frames and bases as well as benches, ottomans, chairs, rugs, lamps, and nightstands at Saatva. Almost everything you need to create a luxury sleep sanctuary.
There's also a full range of bedding, including pillows, mattress pads, protectors, toppers, and sheet sets — even weighted Mulberry silk eye masks, for those who want to work on their beauty regime whilst they sleep.
It's worth noting that bedding is rarely directly discounted, although you can sometimes save by bundling your purchases (for example, with $400 off all orders over $1,000, you can purchase multiple accessories to make a saving.)
Saatva does sell pillows and toppers via the Saatva Amazon store. The Amazon prices typically match those direct from the brand, without the seasonal discounts. However, if you're only after sleep accessories, this might be a more convenient shopping method.
What is the Saatva warranty and trial period?
Whether you order online from the comfort of your own home or use one of the tablets in the Viewing Rooms, Saatva offers the same benefits for all mattress purchases. You get a 365-night home sleep trial, but be aware that if you want to exchange or return your Saatva mattress, there is a $99 processing fee.
The trial times vary a for other items from Saatva. Mattress toppers have a 180-night home trial, while the crib mattress is 45-day free returns. Make sure to read the small print before you buy.
There is no option to exchange bedding and bath items but you do have a 45-day trial in which to change your mind and return them for free. Rugs also have a 45-day trial period, but there is a $99 processing fee attached.
Saatva is so confident in the quality of its mattresses that it offers a lifetime warranty. Check out our guide to lifetime mattress warranties to learn more about what this means for you as a consumer.
