Where should you draft Vikings WR Stefon Diggs in your fantasy draft?

A lot of intrigue in fantasy football surrounding Stefon Diggs is based on potential.

In 2018, Diggs was one of the better receivers in the NFL and in fantasy, finishing with 164 standard fantasy points, a mark that ranked 13th among players at his position.

For the first time in his career, Diggs eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark and also added a career-high nine touchdowns.

What will Diggs’ fantasy numbers look line in 2019?

Pro Football Focus has Diggs in the fourth-tier of receivers labeled “WR2s with WR1 Upside.” That’s a pretty proper title. Diggs certainly has the talent to put up elite numbers.

His teammate Adam Thielen is also in that category.

Diggs ranks as ESPN’s 33rd overall player (one behind Thielen) and 16th receiver.

It’s tricky as a Vikings fan because these two kind of take touches from each other, but they open things up for each other as well.

It feels like the floor is pretty high for Diggs, assuming he can stay healthy. At the very least, he should get right around 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns. That’s probably worth a third-round pick, and that could pay off even more if Diggs can erupt like his talent suggests he can.
