Where should you draft Vikings RB Dalvin Cook in your fantasy draft?

Where do you draft a talented running back who just hasn’t shown he can stay healthy early in his career?

If that’s not the million dollar fantasy football question.

So, where should you draft Vikings running back Dalvin Cook?

Cook looked like a Rookie of the Year candidate through his first four weeks of the 2017 season before tearing his ACL. Cook played in 11 games last season, but was hampered by a hamstring injury and never really looked like the player we saw early in his rookie season.

So, after reports of him being fully healthy, where should you draft him in your upcoming fantasy football draft?

The folks over at Pro Football Focus have Cook ranked in their second-tier of running backs, behind Ezekiel Elliott, Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara.

In a non PPR league on ESPN, Cook ranks as the 11th-ranked running back and the 21st player overall, which would make him a late second-round or early third-round pick.

That seems about right considering the upside Cook has. It’d be hard to take him with a first-round pick like many did last season considering his injury history. But if he can stay healthy (and that’s a big if) and with Latavius Murray in New Orleans, drafting Cook could make you look very smart, assuming you don’t reach.
