Where past Love Island contestants are now from X Factor to OnlyFans

After last year’s main summer edition of ITV2’s was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the long awaited seventh series has been welcomed back by fans.

This year's series returned on June 28 and has already been filled with plenty of drama. During tonight's episode another contestant will be dumped from the island.

And while fans are embracing a new set of contestants, we've taken a look back at some of the much-loved stars and found out what they have been up to since leave the villa.

The new series of Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.

Molly-Mae Hague

2019 runners up Molly-Mae and Tommy are the only Love Island 2019 pairing still standing, with the power couple now topping the Love Island rich list after becoming the most successful contestants ever.

With major brand deals including PrettyLittleThing, social media influencer Molly-Mae now earns up to around £12,000 for each sponsored post thanks to her 5.5 million Instagram followers.

The couple live together in a luxurious Cheshire apartment after moving from their Manchester flat following the tragic death of their puppy Mr Chai last year.

Zara McDermott

Since leaving the villa, Zara has seen her fair share of drama. She stars in Made in Chelsea alongside her boyfriend Sam Thompson, with the pair’s recent cheating scandal and very public breakup and reconciliation playing out on social media as well as on the E4 show.

The social media influencer also stunned fans with her singing skills, after she formed a band called No Love Lost with her fellow Islanders Samira Mighty, Wes Nelson and Eyal Booker to compete in 2019’s The X Factor: Celebrity.

Kem Cetinay

Soon after winning the 2017 series, Kem and Amber Davies went their separate ways. Amber has since gone on to appear in the West End, starring in Dolly Parton’s musical 9 to 5.

Meanwhile, Kem has appeared in a variety of TV shows with co-star Chris Hughes, including You vs Chris & Kem and Chris & Kem Straight Outta Love Island.

The former Dancing on Ice contestant even released a single with BFF Chris, with Little Bit Leave It peaking at number 15 in the Official Charts in 2017.

Kem now co-hosts the Love Island: The Morning After podcast with Arielle Free and is set to become a restaurateur as he launches Array, a new fine dining bar and lounge, in Romford later this month.

Megan Barton Hanson

Despite being unpopular with her fellow Islanders and viewers alike when she first entered the villa, Megan ended up being one of the series’ breakout stars, leaving as one of the favourites.

Since leaving the show, Megan has worked with many big brands, including clothing giant PrettyLittleThing.

More recently, she took part in an investigation by Metro which criticised Love Island for its poor LGBT+ representation, and challenged its claims that an LGBT Love Island would create “logistical difficulties”.

Zara Holland

Zara was one of the islanders in the 2016 series, entering the villa fresh from receiving her title as Miss Great Britain.

Of course, Love Island fans will know that Zara went on to lose her crown after being shown engaging in a sexual act with co-star Alex Bowen during a stay in the Hideaway, in what was one of the most memorable moments of series two.

Since leaving the show, Zara has started her own fashion company, Mimi Boutique alongside her mum, Cheryl.

More recently, she was arrested and fined £4,500 after breaking Covid-19 quarantine rules on a trip to Barbados with her boyfriend Elliott Love.

Josh Ritchie

Josh was a firm fan favourite in the first series, finishing third with co-star Lauren Richardson. Since leaving the Love Island villa, Josh has continued his reality TV career, appearing on hit shows like Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Coach Trip and Ex on the Beach.

He has previously dated Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby and even co-hosted her show, Just Tattoo of Us in 2018.

Nowadays, the former Islander is promoting his OnlyFans profile on Instagram, urging followers to subscribe to see his x-rated photos. Like Zara, Josh has also landed himself in trouble over the past year for breaking Covid-19 rules after attending a series of lockdown parties.
