Nottingham Forest's rivalry with Derby County is one steeped in history.
Both clubs have had the privilege of being managed by legendary boss Brian Clough, with the Reds with enjoying their greatest era under his stewardship.
The Rams also enjoyed success, winning the first division title.
Such is the rivalry between the two clubs, both for their geographical location and the Clough connection, it is enough to rank high in the list of top rivalries in English football.
A study, published by GiveMeSport, has worked out the 30 biggest rivalries in England which is ‘ranked by the cumulative dislike of both teams involved.’
According to this, Forest's rivalry with Derby is the joint-12th biggest rivalry in English football.
That ranking is equal to the second city derby between Birmingham City and Aston Villa, as well as Luton Town against Watford.
Top of list is Southampton vs Portsmouth, with the second biggest rivalry deemed to be Exeter City vs Plymouth Argyle.
