Where Newcastle's Castore deal ranks among most lucrative in Premier League

Newcastle United are the latest Premier League club to have announced that they’re teaming up with a new kit manufacturer this season - but how does the deal rank compared to other top flight clubs?

The Magpies have confirmed a new multi-year partnership with Castore, who will provide the club’s kit for the upcoming 2021/22 campaign.

Newcastle are the fourth Premier league club to change kit providers this summer, with Wolverhampton Wanderers also switching to Castore, Norwich City joining Joma, and Southampton joining Hummel.

Newcastle’s deal with Castore is worth a reported £5m-a-year to the club.

That puts Newcastle on par with West Ham, who are also earning a reported £5m-a-year from their kit provider, Umbro,

However, the amount Newcastle are earning falls some way short of the biggest kit deals in the Premier League.

Liverpool have the biggest kit deal in the Premier League.

Nike pay the Merseyside club a reported £80m-a-year to produce their kit.

Manchester United earn the next most at £75m-a-year, followed by Manchester City at £65m-a-year, Arsenal and Chelsea at £60m-a-year each, and Tottenham at £30m-a-year.
