Merseyside is experiencing a period of sunny and warm weather at the moment which, even in August, is not a guarantee in England.
Although a lot of us will be stuck in work on a Tuesday many more will be off on their holidays or looking after children on their summer break. We wondered where you like to spend warm days when you have the option.

We're expecting Sefton Park and probably Calderstones Park to feature highly as well local beaches like Crosby and Formby as well as whichever is your favourite beer garden. We'd love to get a list together from what readers think, and maybe we could compile your advice for a future what's on article.
There's an amber warning for heat coming this weekend but it doesn't extend as far as Liverpool, the nearest town it touches is Warrington, so hopefully it will just be nice and warm rather than too hot.
