Channel 5 has filled a telly void with its brand new dramatic thriller.
The Deceived, which airs for four consecutive nights from August 3, follows a Cambridge University student named Ophelia who has an affair with her Irish professor Dr Michael Callaghan.
However, it's not as straightforward as that after Michael's wife Roisin dies in a fire back in Ireland.
Ophelia also discovers she is pregnant with Michael's baby but the guilt eats away at her and slowly she begins to question her own sanity as well as Michael's innoncence.
But while most viewers will be focused on the intense storyline unfolding, it's hard not to notice some of the picturesque locations featured in the four-part series.
It all started in the halls of Cambridge University but the twists were soon upon us and it was over to County Donegal which is familiar to creator Lisa McGee who is also the mastermind behind comedy hit Derry Girls.
Located in the northwest Ireland, it borders Atlantic Ocean and offers miles and miles of rugged coastlines views.
The village of Knockdara is the centre of the drama and is where Michael's house is.
During filming it was the real-life Holestone House in Doagh, a village and townland in County Antrim, that was used as the double for the house at Knockdara.
According to Radio Times, Killyleagh Castle in Country Down was also used as a stand-in for Cambridge University and Dublin Event Hall.
Some filming also took place in Belfast but it is not quite yet known as to how this fits into the drama.
The Deceived airs from Monday August 3 to Thursday August 6 at 9pm on Channel 5.
