Where is The Chase's Paul Sinha on Beat the Chasers on ITV?

Beat the Chasers is back for another run on ITV - much to fans delight.

Think of it as a supersized version of popular daytime quiz show The Chase but with a lot more pressure as it sees the Chasers team up to take on a series of players.

It returns tonight (Monday) at 9pm with Bradley Walsh back at the helm and more confident contestants thinking they can out smart the Chasers.

But only five of the six Chasers will be featured in this series.

Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis will all come together for the show and eagle-eyed fans will spot Paul Sinha is missing.

The Sinnerman, as he is known on the ITV show, confirmed earlier this month that he was ill when filming was taking place.

Beat The Chasers last aired in January (ITV)

He explained simply to fans in a tweet: "On the week of recording, I was unwell. Happens."

Paul, 50, has been a part of the quiz show since 2011, after joining as the fourth Chaser.

Beat The Chasers will returning for another five-night special starting tonight, Monday, May 3, to Friday, May 7, and was due to feature all of the quizzers on screen together for the first time.

But with fans' enthusiasm for the series, we're sure there will be another opportunity for Paul to take part.
