Where is the Champions League final in 2020?

The Champions League final is returning to Turkey for the 2019/20 season.

The showpiece match of the European football calendar will be played at The Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

This season's final will take place on Saturday 30th May, 2020.

Liverpool fans need no introduction to the Atatürk, given it was the scene of their remarkable Champions League triumph back in 2005.

The Atatürk was competing against the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, for the 2020 final and the UEFA Executive Committee decided in favour of the Turkish venue.

The 2020 final will mark the 65th season of the European Cup - and the 28th year it has been rebranded as the Champions League.

The 2019 final was held at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid, with Liverpool beating Spurs 2-0 to lift the trophy.
