If you’re grinding through the seasonal challenges in Skate 4, you’ve probably stumbled across the “Sequences with Grinds around the Block Party” challenge. Now, this one trips up a lot of players, but not because it’s difficult to complete.
The real obstacle is locating the Block Party area where you are supposed to complete the challenge. It’s not located in some secret zone. The spot’s right there, it’s just under a different name on the map.
So, dive in with me below as I guide you through navigating to the Block Party and completing the challenge. Seriously, it’s a piece of cake once you know where to look.
Navigating To The “Block Party” Zone

The spot isn’t labeled ‘Block Party’ in the game, which is why many players can’t find it. It’s actually the Rectory Park, a compact and grind-friendly zone, located in the Gullcrest Village Neighbourhood.
It’s kinda like finding a secret level in an old Tony Hawk game — no big icons, no markers. That’s why half the people aceing every challenge get caught stuck in this one. Not anymore, though.
Even if you can’t locate it by yourself, you can always set your own waypoint on Rectory Park and cruise over to it on your deck.
Once you’re in the “Block Party” area, any grind sequences you perform will count towards the challenge progression. The place is practically designed for it, with short ramps, rails, and ledges scattered all around. With all that help, you can string clean lines together without breaking a sweat.
Understanding And Completing The Challenge
If you ask me, the main reason players keep getting stuck here? The challenge instructions aren’t much of a help. So, to clear it off, it isn’t about how many grinds you pull off; it’s about nailing a certain number of grind sequences instead. A sequence starts the second you launch into performing a grind up until a clean landing. However, if you bail mid-way, it’s not gonna count.
Don’t even bother with epic combos, because even if you chain together five impressive grinds in one go, it’s only going to count as a single sequence towards the challenge. So, the smart play isn’t to try and go for one giant combo, but multiple short and clean sequences instead. Much more efficient, and much less hassle.
Note: ~50 grind sequences are required to be performed in the Rectory Park (Block Party) to progress through the “Sequence with Grinds around the Block Party” seasonal objective.
Once you know Rectory Park is the real Block Party in disguise. This seasonal challenge goes from confusing to easy. Just remember to keep your runs clean, land smooth, and watch that tracker tick up.
