Where is Sheridan Smith from, where does she live now and who is her partner Jamie Horn?

She has become well-known for her roles in sitcoms, dramas and even the odd musical, but now Sheridan Smith is in her most natural role yet.

The BAFTA award winning actress has let the cameras into her personal life for only the second time in Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum.

The ITV documentary joins Sheridan, 39, and fiancé Jamie Horn on their journey to parenthood.

Sheridan opens up on her mental health struggles - past and present.

Viewers will see Sheridan as she attends her first scans, pre-natal classes and sessions with a specialist therapist, as well as exploring what help is available for pregnant women and new mums.

She and partner Jamie are filmed at their countryside home as they talk openly of their excitement and nerves about becoming parents.

Sheridan, known for her roles in the likes of Cilla, The Royle Family and Mrs Biggs, left London behind to move to the countryside.

The star, from Epworth in Lincolnshire, has previously spoke about being 'surrounded by animals'. In 2018, she said she had four donkeys, two goats and two pigs on her farm.

Sheridan now lives with fiancé Jamie Horn and their four-month-old baby boy Billy.

Jamie, an insurance broker, met Sheridan on dating app Tinder.

Speaking about the moment they first laid eyes on each other during documentary the new documentary, Jamie said: "On our first date she was so timid, so sweet and nervous.

"She came into this ram-packed boozer, an hour late. She walked in and literally she gave me this smile from across the bar and that was it."

Jamie proposed to Sheridan in May 2018 and in October 2019 confirmed she was expecting the couple's first child.

Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
