Where is Piers Morgan on GMB? Richard Bacon steps in to present ITV show next to Susanna Reid

Viewers of Good Morning Britain got a surprise when they tuned in on Thursday morning.

Piers Morgan , the regular presenter of the ITV current affairs programme, was missing.

Instead, those watching were greeted by Richard Bacon - who was making his GMB presenting debut alongside Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway.

Viewers dubbed the former Blue Peter presenter a "silver fox" as he took the presenting seat.

Richard's turn in the GMB chair comes after former This Morning host Richard Madeley also guest presented this week, and he had fans swooning.

"Wow! Richard Bacon has aged well loves a silver fox," said a third.

"Richard Bacon is definitely the best stand in so far for Piers Morgan on GMB," praised another impressed viewer.

"Breath of fresh air," tweeted another.
