Little Mix have addressed bandmate Jesy Nelson's absence from the grand finale of their talent show, after she was forced to pull out of the big event - with The Search host Chris Ramsey filling viewers in during the episode.
Fans were ready and waiting for the big finale of BBC talent show Little Mix The Search on Saturday night.
It has come down to one final episode, after weeks of battles and the auditions which aired earlier on.
The show had been moved from its original planned scheduling earlier this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But the singers' epic and game-changing series came at the right time, with fans tuning in each week to see them uncover the next big band in the UK, and the world.
As the finale began on Saturday night, one of the band were missing as Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall took to their seats, following an incredible performance.
Jesy wasn't in the studio as host Chris introduced them ahead of the remaining acts doing what they could to win, before he revealed all.
He said: "Unfortunately Jesy is unwell tonight, so won't be joining us but she will be rooting for all of the groups from home."
Earlier on Saturday, a rep for the band said: "Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight's final of Little Mix The Search.
"She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow's MTV EMAs."
No further information was given about Jesy's condition, while fans rushed to social media to wish her well.
The girls had addressed the news earlier on in the day too on their Twitter, as they shared their excitement for the big show to air.
They posted: "Can you believe tonight’s the FINAL of @LMTheSearch!! We’re unbelievably proud of all 6 bands and we can’t wait to see the final 4 perform!
"We’re so sad Jesy won’t be able to join us tonight, but we have such an amazing show in store for you all x."
It was also confirmed Jesy would not be able to perform or host the virtual MTV EMAs on Sunday with the girls.
