Where is Holly Willoughby? This Morning host replaced after Christmas break

This Morning is being hosted by Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes for the first Monday of 2021.

Phillip won't be joined by co-host Holly Willoughby as usual, leaving many fans tuning in wondering where the presenter is.

Prior to the show, ITV confirmed Holly would be missing and announced: "Tune in tomorrow as Phillip and Rochelle welcome us back for a new year of #ThisMorning."

And speaking on the show, Phillip said: "Happy New Year, welcome to the very first This Morning of the year.

"Holly is spending a couple of extra days with the family, so Rochelle is here."

Holly's last live show on This Morning was December 11 for the Christmas pantomime before her and Phil took a break for the festive period. They did, however, appear on Christmas Day in a first for the show.

This week will see Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary become regular hosts on the flagship daytime show as they take over This Morning's Friday slot.

The pair have replaced Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford who will continue to present the show during key holidays.

Managing Director, ITV Daytime, Emma Gormley said: "We are delighted that Alison and Dermot will be joining the main presenting family on This Morning.

"Alison has provided some of the most memorable moments on the show in recent times and teamed up with the brilliant Dermot we think they are a great pairing in addition to our fabulous presenting line up of Phillip and Holly and Eamonn and Ruth."

This Morning continues weekdays on ITV at 10am.
