Where is Holly Willoughby on This Morning? Fans concerned as she misses second day

Holly Willoughby has sparked concern among fans as she's replaced on This Morning for a second day.

The ITV star, who usually presents the show with Phillip Schofield, was replaced on Wednesday's show by Alison Hammond at the last minute.

Introducing the show yesterday, Alison said she was standing in for Holly who was 'having a well deserved day off'.

Now, on Thursday's show, Holly is absent again and Davina McCall has stepped in.

The reasons for the 39-year-old's absence from the show haven't been fully explained.

Phil simply said: "Holly's having a day off, she's back on on Monday."

The presenter won't be back until Monday as she and Phillip don't present the show on a Friday.

And viewers have been having their say.

"Definitely something weird going on with Holly," one tweeted.

Another said: "Something's going on with #ThisMorning weird about Holly having 'days off' when she was due to be on air and there's suddenly a lack of celebrities and call ins with agony aunts, weird."

Alison stepped in on Wednesday (ITV)

"Why are they being cagey about why Holly isn't there? They are usually very open and transparent," quizzed a third.

A fourth also said: "Something they aren’t telling us about Holly. I hope she's ok."

This was echoed by another who added: "No Holly again. They said she was 'having a day off' yesterday. Now I'm worried."

Holly hasn't spoken on her sudden disappearance from the show.

On Tuesday's This Morning, viewers pointed out she was looking forward to playing the 'Guess the Gadget' game with her co-host leaving fans puzzled.

She last posted on social media on Tuesday when the mum-of-three was seen getting in the Christmas spirit with a selfie next to her stunning festive door display.
