Where is Heaton Park for Parklife 2019? Postcode, address and how to get there

As ever, Parklife will be the festival to be at this summer in Manchester and hopefully the weather is as glorious as it was last year.

Having to lather on sun cream is much preferable to wading about in wellies afterall.

Names on the lineup include George Ezra, The Streets, Nas, Disclosure, AJ Tracey, Kaytranada, slowthai, Solange, Earl Sweatshirt and more.

This will be the seventh year the festival has taken place in Heaton Park in North Manchester after it vastly outgrew its previous home at Platt Fields Park in Manchester's student quarter.

Waze & Odyssey (Jenna Foxton / Fanatic 2017 / Parklife 2017)

Parklife now has eight stages (two open air and four tents) which is more than double its original size of three tents and one moderately sized open air stage at Platt Fields.

Heaton Park is about a 20 minute bus, Metrolink or car journey from the centre of Manchester.

Heaton Park and Bowker Vale Metrolink stops are available to travel to on the Bury - Altrincham and the Bury - Piccadilly lines with services running frequently. The proposed four-day strike which could have cause havoc here has now been called off.

The park is situated between High Blackley and Prestwich, just off Middleton Road. The postcode is M25 2SW.
