
The Georgia Bulldogs rise one spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Georgia won 31-13 at home against the Auburn Tigers. Georgia has to be happy with a win in Week 6, which featured four top 10 teams losing.
Most notably, the Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the Vanderbilt Commodores in a stunning upset. The previous No. 4 team, the Tennessee Volunteers, lost on the road to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Missouri and Michigan also went down in pair of top 10 upsets.
The No. 1 Texas Longhorns have 44 first place votes in the coaches poll, which is ahead of the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, who have 11 first place votes. Oregon comes in at No. 3. Oregon hosts Ohio State next week in a top clash. Texas also plays Oklahoma next week, which features several ranked versus ranked matchups.
