Where is Bruno Tonioli on Strictly Come Dancing and why are there only three judges?

It's the moment fans of a certain glitzy dance show have been waiting for.

Strictly Come Dancing is back with 12 new celebrities ready to take to the Strictly ballroom tonight.

The BBC One competition, which begins at 7.25pm tonight, will see the new contestants and their professional dance partners perform their first dance of the series.

Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will also be back to steer the Strictly ship once again.

This year's Strictly has been slightly delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic but thanks to strict Covid-secure measures, the show is finally able to go ahead.

But there will be a significant change to the judging line-up.

The flamboyant Bruno Tonioli will miss the series due to working commitments in America.

He is currently judging on the American version of Strictly, Dancing with the Stars.

Usually, Bruno would travel back and forth between the two shows but travel restrictions have made that impossible this year.

That means it's down to head judge Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood to make the decisions.

But the 64-year-old will still be making a regular appearance in his own special segment during the results show - which airs on a Sunday evening.
