Where hundreds of new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours

A further 460 people have tested positive for coronavirus across Nottinghamshire during the last 24 hours, latest figures show.

The official Government data, published at 4.49pm on Friday, February 5, shows the number of new cases recorded in each part of the county.

The figures represent a slight increase from the 456 new cases recorded on Thursday, February 4.

The largest daily increase was recorded in the city of Nottingham. Elsewhere across the county, the biggest daily rise was in Mansfield.

Here is the latest area-by-area breakdown as of February 5:

Ashfield - 8,040 (increase of 51)

Bassetlaw - 6,715 (Increase of 44)

Broxtowe - 6,078 (Increase of 24)

Gedling - 6,916  (Increase of 47)

Mansfield - 6,718  (Increase of 63)

Newark and Sherwood - 5,914  (Increase of 46)

Nottingham - 26,884  (Increase of 145)

Rushcliffe - 5,890  (Increase of 40)
