Where does Vikings 2019 draft class rank?

The 2019 NFL Draft is over, and most in the NFL world were fond of the work the Vikings did.

Over at NFL.com, Gennaro Filice and Dan Parr ranked each teams’ draft class.

The Vikings ranked 14th overall, which is probably a little lower than it should be.

Minnesota nailed its first two picks, selecting Garrett Bradbury in the first and Irv Smith Jr. in the second. The team probably took Alexander Mattison a little early, but this is a guy the team really likes. Guard Dru Samia was a good value pick in the fourth round.

The Vikings were the top-ranked team in the NFC North. The Packers were 18, the Bears were 29 and the Lions ranked 30th.

Grading draft classes immediately after the draft is kind of a silly practice considering these guys haven’t played a single NFL down. But content is content and NFL fans are hungry for it.
