Where does the Titans fan base rank compared to the rest of the NFL?

The Tennessee Titans have finished their past three seasons with an underwhelming overall record of 9-7, leaving fans with a desire to see something more solid from the team.

Even so, there are many who have been loyal members of the Titans fan base for decades, sticking around through the highs and the lows.

But, where exactly does Tennessee’s fan base ranked compared to the rest of the NFL?

According to Michael Lewis’ 2019 NFL Fandom Report, not very high. Lewis placed the Titans’ fan base 30th in the league. Only the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams ranked lower.

The Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles took the top three spots.

Here’s a look at the complete list.

Lewis offered an explanation for his bottom five teams, using pricing power and meager social media followings as his reasoning.

“At the bottom of the rankings, we have the Bengals, Jaguars, Titans, Chiefs and Rams. Only minor changes from last year. The Browns have edged out of the bottom 5. These teams all suffer from the same issues – relatively weak pricing power and limited social followings.”
